About
About Us
The Listening Station is a friendly drop in book club hosted by ArtBau an art gallery in Brookvale. Each month we feature an author interview and lively community discussion about fiction and non-fiction titles.
Enjoy an aperitivo in the gallery before we pull up a seat at the table in Frankie’s studio. Be inspired by an atmosphere of focused curiosity while enjoying drinks and snacks.
Established and run by Sydney Artist Frankie Morgan, ArtBau is a working artist studio and gallery, it opens its doors as a creative clubhouse to host The Listening Station.
The Listening Station shakes up the standard book club formula through robust discussion and by unearthing never-before-heard insights in the lively author conversations.
The Listening Station is named after a cold war relic in the forests around Berlin, an affectionate nod to Frankie’s eight years in the city before putting down roots in the Northern Beaches.
We are grateful for the support of The Northern Beaches Council and Aperitivo Importers Australia Pty Ltd.
